About the Flower Girl - a brief history

We have been 16 years in the making of what we are today.  We have progressed from a home workshop to our current premises at 3 Neville Road, Luton.  Here we have a rear yard in which we have installed two walk-in chiller units, and together with an air conditioned shop we are able to display our flowers in the best possible conditions.

Many customers have become friends, so much so that we celebrate in a forthcoming marriage,  rejoice in the birth of a new arrival, and are deeply saddened by the death of a loved one.

We hold an annual Christmas Open Evening, welcoming our guests with nibbles, wine and even hot chestnuts. We regard this as an event where we can really talk to our customers without the stresses of daily life. We also use it as a chance to say thank you to all those who have supported us throughout the year.

In July we hold a charity event, with all proceeds going to our local Hospice. This year we topped 1,000 – all by selling tea and cakes.  Not only did our customers donate cakes for us to sell, some actually helped on the day, but even more attended the event. We really do feel we are not only a “flower shop”, but part of the community.

We will always try to go that “extra mile” to provide exactly what our customers would like and for that reason we would prefer to talk to you in person rather than take on-line orders.

We can’t wait to hear from you . . . . .
